This is unique and healthy ladoo recipe made without sugar and jaggery. Kids who doesn't like to eat whole dry fruits might like these as these ladoo's are made with grounded nuts. These ladoo's has extra flavor and taste like chocolate since it has little cocoa which kids will love to eat. The sweetness to the recipe comes entirely from dates and honey making it a healthy recipe.

To make it more healthier we have added Flax Sunflower and Sesame seeds. You can even add pumpkin seeds. All the three seeds are rich in vitamins minerals and proteins. Sesame seeds are rich in calcium.Sesame seeds contain a whopping 975mg of calcium per 100g nearly 100% of our recommended daily intake of 1000mg. Thats almost 9 times that found in the equalant amount of dairy milk, which we're often advised.

For centuries flax seeds have been prized for their health protective properties. In addition to being a rich source of vitamins and minerals flax seeds contains plant based Omega-3 fatty acids ALA. Plant based ALA fatty acids are proven to have heart health benefits and are linked to a lower risk of stroke.

All the ingredients in this recipe are rich in iron. One ladoo a day is good for the ones who are facing iron deficiency. Precaution is better that cure. Eat iron rich foods everyday so that you will not be anemic.

Healthy food is the way for the healthy life style. I wish you all a happy and healthy lifesyle.
